Some 7,000 Ipohites joined in September's Ipoh Car-Free Day, which had the theme of "1 Malaysia". This eleventh edition of the monthly event was attended by Ipoh City Mayor Dato' Zamri Man and Council Secretary Mohd Zakuan Zakaria.
