Although this Toy & Fantasy Museum in Penang is entered in the Malaysia Book of Records for “World’s Largest Toy Museum” and “World’s Costliest Toy Museum”, it is not extensively promoted as it should be. Thus, many people are unaware of its existence.

However, with more than RM60 million worth of original copyrighted Hollywood licensed toys and iconic life-sized figures, of the 120,000 items on display, surely there is something appealing for every visitor?

This is not a toy museum to be scoffed at, although I personally prefer the Toy Museum at The Shore in Melaka simply for the fact that it is more interactive and we can pose for photos with many of the toys.

At Toy & Fantasy Museum Penang, all displays are enclosed in large transparent casings, which made it difficult to take photos.

  1. Oohh wow! Kids and kids at heart would enjoy this museum! I’ve never been to a toy museum but I would love to! Afraid of the chucky dolls though, afraid they might move and they might be alive lol ;p
