Tower Regency Hotel Ramadhan CSR Programme
For the fifth consecutive year, children from selected orphanages and kids’ homes in Perak had the opportunity to break fast at a star-rated hotel in Ipoh, Tower Regency Hotel & Apartments.
The children, numbering 353, and some 150 invited guests, were treated to a memorable and meaningful evening, courtesy of the hotel management and generous sponsors, such as Perak Tourism Management Berhad, Perak Police Contingent and individuals; namely En. Abd. Rahman Bin Che Ahmad, En. Syeikh Farouk Bin Sheikh Mohamad and Pn. Zatul Hazelin.
The six beneficiaries were Rukun Tetangga Pekan Batu Gajah, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Dahikmah Gopeng, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Warga Bait Al-Amin Parit, Rumah Kanak-Kanak Sultan Abdul Aziz Kuala Kangsar, NGO Associated Country Women of the World (ACCW) and Pusat Pendidikan Al-Barakah.
Besides partaking in a most scrumptious Ramadhan buffet fare, the children each received a goodie bag and duit raya.
As yet another Corporate Social Responsibility initiative in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan, the staff of Tower Regency Hotel & Apartments will join hands to cook up 5,000 packets of bubur lambuk to be distributed to the public in front of the hotel on July 9, from 4pm to 6pm.
