Things To Do First After Lockdown

We’re into Day 76 of the Movement Control Order (MCO) and Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO). The restriction of movement order is expected to be lifted on 9th June, 2020. However, according to the Malaysian Director-General of Health, Datuk Seri Dr. Noor Hisham bin Abdullah, it’s still too early to decide.

Many of my friends are already planning what they want to do first when CMCO is lifted, whether it is on 9th June or later.

I came across the above infographic which polled the public on their first activity after lockdown, and it is to go for a haircut. Looks like while there are many who became their own barber or for their spouse/children, the majority are still waiting for the salon to resume business legally.

Argh….. wait until neck as long as the giraffe’s! My hair is down to my waist but going to the salon is not the first place I want to visit.

The second most yearned activity is to travel. Aha…this is what I am waiting for as well, but my rational mind is telling me that this will not happen anytime soon, and will be a long while before I board a plane, even after international borders reopen. Pfffttt!

As for the rest of the list, there’s really nothing that I want to do. What about you?

With love
