The Strategically-Located AnCasa Hotel & Spa Kuala Lumpur

When I informed my friends that I would be putting up for the night at AnCasa Hotel & Spa Kuala Lumpur, they gave me blank faces. What surprised me was that these are KLites.

Why did they not notice the huge building that is AnCasa Hotel, just around the corner from KL’s main bus terminal, Pudu Sentral, also known as UTC Kuala Lumpur?

I have known about AnCasa Hotel for a long time, as a regular visitor to the capital city by express bus, disembarking at Puduraya. However, when the north-bound bus terminal relocated to Bandar Tasik Selatan, I hardly swing by this way. Nonetheless, I still find its location very strategic and convenient. Located next to the eye-catching artsy Nando’s restaurant, it is just steps from Petaling Street (Chinatown) and Central Market.

For those who depend heavily on public transport like yours truly, AnCasa Hotel is an excellent choice of accommodation because it is easily accessible by RapidKL buses. Its nearest LRT station, Plaza Rakyat of Ampang / Sri Petaling Line, is just five minutes walk along a shaded path, a good transport option for guests who plan to explore the city and beyond the sights and sounds of the capital.

8. in-room coffee & tea-making facilities

As a value-added service, the hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to KLCC (PETRONAS Twin Towers) and Bukit Bintang Plaza, twice a day at 10am and 11.30am.

From there, guests can access the KLCC LRT station of Kelana Jaya Line, and Monorail service. Do make advance booking as this service is available on first come, first served basis.

Boasting 294 rooms, the categories are: Superior, Deluxe, AnCasa Floor, and Family Deluxe. In-room amenities include satellite TV channels, iron & board, hair dryer (very important to me, hahaha), tea & coffee making facility, mini fridge, International Direct Dial (IDD), as well as complimentary WiFi.

Corporate guests who plan to host meetings may do so at one of the function rooms, or even in the Kayangan Ballroom, that can accommodate up to 450 pax.
