Suzuki Cars Are Back to Conquer The Roads of Perak

After a lapse of about eight years, Suzuki cars are back in Perak, with the appointment of Car-Lines Sports & Classics Sdn. Bhd. as the Perak dealer for the brand, on 15th December 2023. It was an auspicious day for the company, which also holds the state dealership for Proton and Subaru.

It was around 2015 when Suzuki of Japan pulled out from the Malaysian market, intending to collaborate with Proton. Unfortunately, plans fell through. It was only in 2021 that Suzuki managed to re-enter the market, delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to Car-Lines Sports & Classics Sdn. Bhd. Chief Executive Officer Dato’ P.R. Chandhran, the company had a good run as the dealer of Suzuki between 2004 and 2015. Therefore, it was indeed good news that they managed to clinch the state dealership again this time, from Naza Eastern Motors Sdn. Bhd.

Car-Lines Sports & Classics Sdn. Bhd. hosted a joint Deepavali-Christmas Open House Celebration today (15th Dec 2023), and took the opportunity to unveil two of the automaker’s updated models: Suzuki Swift Sport and Suzuki Jimny. Both models are fully imported from Japan.

The on-the-road price for Swift Sport starts from RM145,900 while Jimny from RM174,900 (private, excluding insurance).

At the event, national dealer Naza Eastern Motors Sdn. Bhd. Chief Operating Officer En. Mohamad Irwan Shahril announced the year-end promotion for the Suzuki cars. There is a discount of up to RM17,000 for the Jimny and RM10,000 for Swift Sport.

Currently, the two models are being showcased at the showroom of Car-Lines Sports & Classics Sdn. Bhd. at Greentown Business Centre in Ipoh. A test drive can also be arranged for either of the vehicles. While you are there, you can check out the Proton and Subaru models, as well as the imported recon cars.
