Restoran Caterbest, Bercham: Halal Chinese Restaurant in Ipoh

Run by a husband and wife team of Wong Swee Kok and Mah Pow May, Restoran Caterbest has been in business in Bercham, Ipoh, for 21 years. Although I see it whenever I pass through the main road in Bercham, I just did have the reason to stop for a meal before.

Well, now that Restoran Caterbest has been included as one of the stops in Bercham in the latest Perak Food Trail, we no longer have an excuse not to patronise the shop!

Serving halal Chinese cuisine, besides a selection of dishes from the à la carte menu, diners can choose from at least four “course meal” menus.

Popular items on the menus include the restaurant’s signature dishes such as the triple taste kerapu fish, double sauce fried chicken and Nestum prawns.

Wrapping up the meal would be a range of desserts, from the common local fruits to fried ice cream.

Prices for course dinners with rice, Chinese tea, groundnuts, and towels, start from RM180 nett per table, excluding GST.
