Ramadan CSR Programme by Tower Regency Hotel

It was a night to remember for the almost three hundred kids from orphanages and children’s homes in and around Ipoh when they were invited to break fast at Tower Regency Hotel, Ipoh.

At the specially organised Ramadan event graced by Ipoh City Mayor Dato’ Zamri Man, the seven selected organisations were Rumah Anak Yatim Budi Mulia Nurul Huda (Chemor), Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Warga Bait Al-Amin (Parit), Pusat Jagaan Anak Yatim Miskin Nurul Iman (Manjoi), Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Dahikmah (Gopeng), Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak Yatim Al Riduani (Manjoi), The Associated Country Women of the World and Pusat Harian Kanak-Kanak Spastik.

Approximately two hundred guests from government agencies, business associates and sponsors for the night were also invited to join in the joyous occasion. This Corporate Social Responsibility initiative has been held for the sixth consecutive year.

The children, with smiles on their faces upon receiving their goodie bags and duit raya, and all invitees were also treated to a generous buffet spread. The food served was from the hotel’s Ramadan buffet that is available during this holy month of Ramadan.

In addition to sharing a meaningful breaking of fast, one of the sponsors for the event, Azmi & Co. donated cash to all the seven organisations.

The night wrapped up with the presentation of gift hampers to the sponsors and the Mayor from the management of the hotel as a token of appreciation.

The hotel will be distributing 5,000 packets of bubur lambuk to the public for free on 30th June, 2016 at the hotel entrance. Time is from 3.30pm to 6pm and while supply lasts. Get ready for your FREE packet of bubur lambuk!
