This annual Assessment Tax Lucky Draw is one way for MBI to reward them. 30 major prizes were given away, including YSuku 110cc motorcycles, smartphones, electrical appliances, shopping vouchers, as well as the grand prize of a Proton Saga 1.3MT car.

Earlier, 300 names had been drawn to win consolation prizes to make up a total pool of 330 winners for this year.

According to Ipoh City Mayor Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin, 2020’s assessment payment has seen an increase of 14.5%, which equals to 148,174 bills, totalling RM39.45 million, compared to last year’s RM31.9 million from 129,702 bills. This is a positive sign that Ipohites undertake the settlement of assessment tax for an entire year all at one time, and their eagerness to participate in the lucky draw.

Congratulating the winners, Dato’ Rumaizi expressed hope that Ipoh residents would carry out their responsibility in settling their assessment tax. He also wished for continued solid support for MBI in realising its aspiration to make Ipoh a Clean, Green and Developed City (Bersih, Hijau dan Maju).

  1. The annual draw however… is not made available for those ppl like me who pays assessment online.

  2. Ya!!! I totally get you. Although I pay my bills online, this is the only bill I pay offline just so that I can participate in the lucky draw…. but no luck thus far, even for consolation prize! Argh!
