PIKOM PC Fair 2013 @ Ipoh

Although I have not failed to attend all the IT fairs in Ipoh for the past two or three years, this was the only time that I actually went with a shopping list.

Unfortunately, with only 26 exhibitors, and if those that promote credit cards and broadband were excluded, there are fewer than twenty IT vendors at PIKOM PC Fair in Ipoh this time around.

PC fairs by PIKOM are supposed to be one of the largest electronic fairs in the country, but they are no longer. The items being sold at this fair didn’t appeal to me at all. I was looking to see newly introduced electronic devices, and not generic devices from China, where a big question mark hangs over their quality.

Having said so, I still managed to strike off a couple of items on my shopping list, saving myself a few Ringgit per item. The savings aren’t much, but then again, something is better than nothing.
