Today, I would like to share with you some shots from my recent visit to Tow Boh Keong in Ipoh, Perak, to pay homage to the Nine Emperor Gods. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to take more shots; I had to leave because I was almost “crying” already from smoke from the joss-sticks. LOL

As you can see from my photo of the main prayer hall of the temple, it was packed with devotees. I could hardly move. This is what happens every year for nine days during the Nine Emperor Gods festival, and Tow Boh Keong Taoist temple along Jalan Tokong in Ipoh is no exception.
