Pesta Pulau Pinang @ Tapak Pesta, Sg. Nibong

It was an unplanned visit to Pesta Pulau Pinang 2013 when my friends and I were driving north from Ipoh, and then suddenly decided to stop at the mega fair.
We had great childhood memories of the pesta but it had been years since any of us visited it. Therefore, it did seem like a new experience.
The traffic in Sg. Nibong heading towards Tapak Pesta, which is just opposite of the Sg. Nibong Express Bus Terminal was horrendous, so I am sure you can imagine the hassle and stress of looking for a proper parking spot!
We were rather lucky that we managed to find a fairly good spot after waiting for a while.Next time, it’s just wiser to board a bus from Ipoh!
Now, how would I describe Pesta Pulau Pinang? It’s more than a night market-cum-fun fair, as there are sub-events during the 1+ month that the pesta is being held, including Most Beautiful Cat, colouring contest and Battle of the Bands.
