Opening of World’s First 20th Century Fox World Studio Store at SkyAvenue, RWG

I told me my friend that I would be at Resorts World Genting during the weekend and he asked me, “Why?” I shot back, “Why not?” When I say that exciting things are happening up on the mountains, you better take it as the truth because it is!

Yesterday saw the opening of the world’s first 20th Century Fox World Studio Store and I was invited to have a first hand shot at getting myself some exclusive 20th Century Fox World Studio merchandise and movie premiums.

Scores of fans camped in front of the store, located at Level 2 of SkyAvenue, overnight to be one of the firsts to enter the store as soon as it was launched and opened for business on 21st April, 2018!

Can you believe how excited we were? Of course, we could hardly sleep a wink that night, as we could peep inside the store. Some people were already making lists of what to purchase.

I am not that of a fanatic when it comes to shopping but I was eagerly awaiting the appearance of Sidney from Ice Age, who was scheduled to appear during the grand launch in the morning.

Guess what? Sid was not alone! He brought along the squirrels, Scrat and Scratte, as well as characters from Rio: Blu, Jewel, Nico and Pedro! Can you imagine what frenzy their appearance created among us fans of Ice Age and Rio?

It was indeed a grand celebration as it kicked off with an energetic Samba performance. That was followed by opening speeches from the directors of 20th Century Fox World Studio Store.

Once the formalities were over, the doors of the specialty store swung open and it was time to shop! Offering approximately 700 themed exclusive merchandise, collectibles, apparel and more, across a retail space of 3000 sq. ft., it is an exhilarating shopping experience at Resorts World Genting’s Fox World Studio Store.

If you love 20th Century Fox movies such as Night at the Museum, Planet of the Apes, Alien vs. Predator, Robots, Epic, and not forgetting Ice Age and Rio, you must include Fox World Studio Store as part of your shopping spree at SkyAvenue.
