Nine Emperor Gods Chinese Opera @ Tow Boh Keong, Ipoh

I went to catch a Chinese opera performance at Tow Boh Keong (Taoist temple) in Ipoh last evening. There is a Chinese opera show every evening for the entire nine days of the Nine Emperor Gods festival and yesterday was already Day 7.

It was a challenge to take photos with my compact digital camera. My Samsung ST600 did not live up to my expectation so I ended up shooting a short video instead. Most Chinese opera shows in Ipoh are in Cantonese, so the storyline was easy to follow and even I enjoyed it. Check out my video.
