Musang King Indulgence @ DurianMan

When my friend found out that I had yet to get my first bite of durian this season, he suggested that we get it for supper. This durian lover just needed another excuse to indulge in the King of Fruits, I know. Hahaha!

Honestly, having grown up on a regular diet of durians every season, thanks to my family’s unlimited access to a friend’s durian orchard, I don’t crave for the fruit at all. It doesn’t matter if I do not get any during one or two seasons.

Then again, it was a good reason to show this small town girl how durians are eaten in the big city. The best place was DurianMan SS2, with its spanking new building. If you watch old YouTube videos of this place, you can compare what a transformation it has undergone.

And with its new look, comes a fresh name as well, from DurianSS2 to DurianMan

My friend selected and paid for the “premium” species of Musang King, even though to me, a durian is a durian. We washed down our fruity supper with fresh coconut juice.
