Intensifying its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to ensure that no one is left behind, in line with the government’s vision, during this challenging time of COVID-19 health crisis, Ipoh’s MÙ Hotel distributed food aid to children’s homes, elderly care centres as well as the needy in the city.

Undoubtedly, the Coronavirus has turned our world upside down, and the most affected are those who have been living from hand to mouth.

Answering this silent call for assistance, on 16th April, no less than 13 non-profit organisations and households benefitted from the hotel’s distribution of care packs in the form of fresh vegetables and rice, Malaysians’ staple food.

Working together as a team, the hotel staff covered a vast area to ensure that many less fortunate people were not left hungry.

The Movement Control Order (MCO) and stipulated maximum distance of 10 kilometres certainly did not deter them, as they continue to make plans to deliver food aid in the coming days, as far away as Parit Buntar, Perak.

Well done, MÙ Hotel, for helping the marginalised communities during this time of need.
