Mega Fantasy-Themed Balloon Sculpture

I have a revelation to make. Despite living in Ipoh, the number of times that I have shopped at AEON MALL Ipoh Station 18 can be counted in one hand. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that they are already celebrating their fifth anniversary this year!

My personal shopping choices are AEON Kinta City and Ipoh Parade due to their convenient location but this past school holidays, I just had to go and have a look at the celebration that took place at AEON MALL Ipoh Station 18.

The concourse of the mall has been transformed into a fantasy wonderland, with the use of balloon sculptures solely. Now, I am not someone who is easily impressed, but I was indeed captivated by the sight before me.

These photos do not do justice to the true beauty of the venue. They may be just balloons. However, when they are twisted and sculptured, colour coordinated and matched the concept of the theme, they are no longer mere balloons but attractive decorations.

Undoubtedly, that was why shoppers wasted no time taking selfies and wefies with the sculptures. If you haven’t yet, you still have the opportunity to do so before the decorations are taken down after April 2.
