Making Memories with Ocean Park Summer Splash
In the blink of an eye, Hong Kong’s Ocean park is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. This year-long celebration sees plenty of special activities lined up. One of the main events began on 1st July and will be on-going until 27th August.
Dubbed Ocean Park Summer Splash, visitors will be taken on a trip down memory lane to their childhood summertime, where they are guaranteed to be mesmerised by an exhilarating wave of summer activities and attractions.
Expect to see the largest-ever sand sculptures created by celebrated American sculptor Ray Villafane, say ‘hello’ to the thousands of yellow rubber ducks that will be making an appearance at the park for the first time and indulge in additional water splashing attractions that are newly introduced.
With the theme ‘Making Memories’, not only will visitors be transported to their childhood memories that they still hold fondly, they are also invited to create new ones with their loved ones, at Ocean Park’s limited-time attractions.
In line with its theme, the Park’s Applause Pavilion will be transformed into an exuberant summer beach. Additionally, be prepared to get drenched at thrilling water-splashing games such as Wild Foam Zone, Mega Gush and Super Spray Tunnel. There is no doubt that this is an exciting Wet & Wild Sand Party!
After all these energy-burning activities, you are bound to be hungry and thirsty. Don’t worry! Let Ocean Park take your taste buds on a journey of appetising delights at Neptune’s and Tuxedos Restaurants.
The four-course Midsummer Breeze Menu presents hearty summer dishes featuring in-season fruits and vegetables, topped off with beach-themed Panda Haagen-DazsTM Strawberry Ice Cream with Butter Cookies. There are various options as well at other F&B outlets and food kiosks. I shall let you discover them for yourself!
