It was full house at Tow Boh Keong Hall, when Barisan Nasional Chairman YAB Dato’ Seri DiRaja Mohd. Najib Tun Razak, former Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, Perak BN Chairman YAB Dato’ Seri DiRaja Dr. Zambry Abd. Kadir, other state Barisan Nasional leaders and their spouses came to have lunch with Perak NGOs.

Organising Chairman of the lunch, Dato’ Yeoh Kian Teik, or more popularly known as the father of international actress Dato’ Seri Michelle Yeoh, said in his opening speech that although his daughter has travelled all over the world, she still thinks that Malaysia is the best country, and Ipoh, the best city!

Dr. M reminded all present that Malaysia is a multi-racial country and that although many problems may arise, with co-operation among the races, it will bring stability to the country. With peace and stability, the government of the day can focus on development.

Dato’ Yeoh Kian Teik presents a Chinese tea set to Ah Jib Gor

Ah Jib Gor gave a lengthy speech. Appropriate to the venue, the hall of Tow Boh Keong (Taoist temple), he spoke on Tao, living in moderation, and taking the middle path. He also called on voters to reject those who play the racial card.
