Let’s Welcome the Spring Festival with a Family Reunion Dinner

Ringing in a brand New Year has been done and dusted. Now, it is the time of the year that is no less important. No, it is not Chinese New Year (CNY) yet, but this is when we need to decide, as a family, where to hold our Chinese New Year reunion dinner!

It is no easy task when there are so many restaurants that offer their own dinner packages. However, for my family, our preferred venue is Syeun Hotel Ipoh.

Do you know why? Well, it’s more festive to dine with tens of other families in the ballroom while being entertained with stage performances throughout the evening of 15th Feb. There is no need to rush through the mouth-watering dishes, unlike other restaurants that hold reunion dinners in two or three sessions. More importantly, fair pricing and taste that’s on point. For your information, 2018 is Syeun Hotel’s 8th anniversary for its “Family Reunion Dinner”.

When the family is together at one of those rare times, it is a great opportunity to take a family photo. Syeun Hotel provides two complimentary photographs for every table. These photos are instantly printed.

Also, what’s CNY without the presence of the God of Prosperity? Good news! He’s making an appearance at this “Family Reunion Dinner” and will distribute ang pows to diners. Yay! May we be showered with good blessings throughout the year. Huat ah!!

So, today, I share with you the menus that Syeun Hotel is offering this CNY, the Year of the Dog, to welcome the Spring Festival.

For CNY Reunion dinner, there are four menus and the pricing per table of ten are:

A) RM788 (vegetarian)
B) RM888
C) RM1,188
D) RM1,488

Meanwhile, for Chinese New Year celebration (17th Feb – 2nd March), there shall be 3 packages, priced at:

A) RM788
B) RM988 (photos included)
C) RM1,388 (photos included)

This will be hosted at Syeun D Hall (Level 2).

*Precious Ingredients Chinese Casserole (Poon Choy)
*Steamed Pomfret Fish in Quality Soy Sauce
*Syeun-Style Fried Yellow Mee
*Hot Sweetened Xin Soo, Gingko Nut, Snow Fungus, Amber Jelly & Snow Lotus Seed (individually served)
*Two-Variety Cookies

You’ll notice that Menu C is a 7-course dinner. That’s because Precious Ingredients Chinese Casserole (Poon Choy), the highlight of the menu, is a luscious one-pot Chinese dish, with a great variety (and quantity) of luxurious ingredients!

If you are looking for lunch during Chinese New Year, the hotel’s coffee house will be running a promotion at the Garden View Coffee House (Lobby Level) from 16th – 22nd Feb.
