Kingwood Resort, Mukah, Sarawak
Kingwood Resort is an unassuming ‘beach resort’ that looks more like a government block instead.
Located in the middle of ‘no where’ along the main road, some 15 minutes’ drive from Mukah town, there are no shops or amenities within walking distance.
I have been told, the few resort guests here are mainly civil servants who are in Mukah for work. Therefore, anyone yearning for a quiet family vacation can experience that here.
Opened in 2005, this 3-star resort offers modern accommodation in this quiet town. Despite fronting the South China Sea, there is certainly no “resort” feel here because of the turbulent ocean.
Check out my photos of the sprawling Kingwood Resort, sitting on a 15-acre plot of land.

how was u staying there. actually i have plan to go there to..
Hi Camillius,
The hotel is not too bad actually. It has been a long time since I stayed there but I do remember that it is spacious. The location is quite far away from city conveniences and you would need your own transport.
