Ipoh Walk: A Night Bazaar
Ipoh Walk Night Bazaar is supposed to be Ipoh’s latest attraction as it is slated to be the largest night bazaar in Malaysia. I have visited this night bazaar after its soft launch in September and subsequently after its grand opening in December last year.
At this point in time, Ipoh Walk Night Bazaar is far from being the largest bazaar in the country, day or night, and they certainly need more time to build up. The question is, how much time is required and will the community continues to support it until they have achieved that status?
These photos shared today were taken over a period of time from a number of visits. As you can see, a lot of stalls are still unoccupied. However, this doesn’t mean that Ipoh Walk Night Bazaar isn’t worth our time. At this juncture, there are already plenty of things to buy and food to eat!
Ipoh Walk Night Bazaar opens from 4pm to 1am (Tues to Thurs) and 4pm to 3am (Fri to Sun). Closed on Mondays. My recommendation is to go after 8pm, as there would be more choices available. Check out some of these photos.
Did you notice that the walking path is uncovered? That’s not very friendly to customers especially when the weather is wet. I personally think that it would be a better shopping experience if the entire area was covered with a huge canopy.
What are your views? Have you visited Ipoh Walk Night Bazaar yet?

This Ipoh night bazaar looks so much fun. I do really like to visit this kind of night market and tried to eat in street foods.
I love visiting night bazaars because its the opportunity to check new items and foods. And also it is good for the community!
I miss it when I went there last December. I need to revisit. I bet many things to see here.
I’m a huge fan of bazaar because it’s the best place to enjoy the best street food
I think the things they sell are quite overprice. Almost everything was above RM10. Difficult to maintain though.
Is this bazaar still open??
Unfortunately, no.
Dear Emily, sad to know that this place is close.
Did you know why this place close, is it because of mismanagement or the tenant or no “ong” ?
