Halloween Party of the Century 2018
It was the perfect evening for a Halloween dinner and party, that even the weather cooperated, with its slashing rain and howling wind.
The venue was Star Mansion in Greentown Ipoh, transformed from its usual glitzy café-cum-restaurant to a room full of ghostly mysteries.
Obviously, there were several concurrent Halloween events going on the same evening but I attended Star Mansion’s Halloween Party of the Century. Therefore, this is what you get to read about today!
With most of the guests dressed in their demonly best, the tone for the evening was set. For those who came ill-equipped, there were relevant goodie bags given away, as well as complimentary makeup to fit the occasion.
As guests dined on their ghoulish meal washed down with red wine, and retro 80s music blasting from the loudspeakers courtesy of DJ Paul, there were loads of fun for all.
One of the best things about a Halloween party, in my opinion, is the thematic desserts. And that was to be expected at Star Mansion, from its Witches Cocktails to Munster Dinner and Desserts of the Dead.
Among all these, what caught my eye, pun intended, were the bloody eyeballs. For equilibrium, I had two to wrap up my meal.
The party became merrier and exciting with multiple sponsored prizes given away, including dining and accommodation vouchers courtesy of Syeun Hotel Ipoh, entry tickets to International IPOH Fashion Week (IIFW™ ’18), and mini Halloween gift hampers.
In addition, those who had purchased red wine were entitled to a special lucky draw of which limited edition Arsenal FC merchandise were given away as prizes, such as jerseys, bags, scarves, key chains, and even bottles of 120 Arsenal FC Edition red wine.
