Free Courses Offered by JPW Perak

The Perak Department of Women Development (Jabatan Pembangunan Wanita Perak – JPW Pk) is organising short courses for Malaysian women to train them with skills that would help generate a sustainable income.

Targeted groups are single mothers and those who have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, between the ages of 18 and 45 years old. Those who are not in this age group may also apply for consideration.

Among the short courses offered include hairdressing, massage, Information Technology (IT), bakery, tailoring and t-shirt printing.

These month-long courses (Mondays to Fridays, 9am until 5pm) are free-of-charge to those who qualify. In fact, participants will given an allowance, as well as provision of their course materials.

Limited slots are available. Therefore, if you are interested to take up this opportunity, attend the walk-in interview which will be held at Bangunan Persekutuan Ipoh on 6th and 7th August, 2020. Bring along a copy of your MyKad and education certificates (if any).
