Flash Flood in Ipoh

These photos of Ipoh Garden were taken on Oct 22 at about 3.30pm, after an hour of unceasing downpour.

Flash floods in Ipoh are not uncommon but it’s not often that one is caught outdoors with a camera at hand.

There was just so much rain two days ago that it was still raining after five hours on that day!

I bet that the flood water had risen even higher but boy, was I glad to be in the safety of home.

Getting caught outdoors in torrential rain was certainly not fun!
