Field of Lights: Chinese New Year Edition

I finally found the time to visit the Field of Lights: Chinese New Year edition, last evening. Yes, the lighting extravaganza is back, this time bigger and brighter as we usher in the Year of the Rooster.

Didn’t I tell you that the owners of Bandar Baru Sri Klebang had plans to reopen the Field of Lights in conjunction with the Lunar New Year if their Christmas-themed event received hot response from us?

The first Field of Lights was held in December last year in celebration of 15 years of Bandar Baru Sri Klebang Township (BBSK). It was the initiative of Kinta Properties Holdings Sdn Bhd, the developer of BBSK.

This Field of Lights V2.0 actually began on 23rd Jan, but closed for two days on 27th & 28th Jan, the eve and first day of Chinese New Year.

Reopened on 29th Jan, the event will continue to welcome visitors until 12th Feb, from 7.30pm onwards until 11pm.

Admission to the Field of Lights is free-of-charge. More activities are lined up during the weekends.

Live performances and food trucks are only a couple of attractions that I am able to name. As always, you have to go there personally to enjoy the ambience.

The night lights here look stunning. Will definitely make a visit – love the whole CNY theme that is going on with the lanterns too 🙂
Its so beautiful and dreamy! Making me feel that 2017 is the good year for everyone!
Happy CNY!
Ooh the drum performance must have been amazing! Lots of nice photo opportunities here. Very clever marketing by the developers, I must say!
This Field of Light thing is becoming more popular in the Philippines too, especially last Christmas and New year. It is really creative how those lights were organized to make such an artwork that will really give joy to everyone who witnesses it…
This looks great. And even greater is that it is free admission. A place where the whole family can gather and just mingle.
Wow! So much lights! Love the decor though, very artistic in a way. Great way to spend CNY with family and kids
I love all those decorations! Hope you have blast celebration!
Beautiful arrangement of lights. I loved the pictures you have posted here. New year should start with lot of light, and this place does it for all. Wish you and your family a Happy Chinese New Year 🙂

That Rooster lantern is beautiful. Am imagining if my Mom have it to our home??? She loves lanterns for any occasions
