Express Bus Terminal Medan Gopeng, Ipoh
I travel to Kuala Lumpur about once a month, sometimes for shopping, sometimes to cover events or to attend conferences. Depending on my schedule and where I would like to disembark, I take the train or express bus.
The integrated express bus terminal in Ipoh is located in a building called Kompleks Silveritage Galleria in Medan Gopeng, Ipoh. This terminal serves interstate express buses and is different from the Kidd Road (Medan Kidd) bus station which only serves buses within Ipoh City and towns within the state of Perak.
Sometimes, I buy my bus ticket in advance; sometimes at the last minute. Well, if you have a really urgent appointment or if you are travelling during peak season, it’s best to buy your ticket in advance.

Love this Bus Terminal cos it is near to my home . My wife and I travel by bus to Kedah almost once a month .
We park our car at the bus terminal, tke the 9.00 am bus and arrive at Kedah just after noon at 12.30 pm.
On our return journey ,we take the 3.30 pm bus back and arrive at this terminal at around 7.00pm, hope into the car and arrive home by 7.15pm.
I heard that this Bus Terminal will be relocated at Jelapang . Will miss the convenient we enjoy now but will benefit those who stays around Jelapang area.
Yes, a new integrated express bus terminal will be built in Jelapang but I have no idea when it will start operating. So meanwhile, enjoy Medan Gopeng while you can!

Are you referring to the Medan Gopeng bus terminal? this terminal has closed down. Bus services have relocated to Terminal Amanjaya.
