Curry Noodles with Chicken Drumstick
We might be in a lockdown right now but that doesn’t mean that we cannot still enjoy good food. So, here is yet another food post to keep our spirits up!
In our continuous quest to look for the “best” curry mee, we were back to somewhere familiar, just around the corner from home. Family Food Court, previously Woolley Food Court, is where we head to when we don’t want to put too much thought into figuring, “What’s for lunch?”
Tick Kee Prawn Mee Curry Mee (non-halal) is one of the stalls in Family Food Court. In business since 1982, signature items here are Penang Prawn Mee, Dry Curry Mee, Curry Seafood Mee and Drumstick Curry Mee.
From this stall, we ordered Drumstick Curry Mee and another bowl of curry noodles with roasted pork. We have to say, one chopped chicken drumstick in a bowl of curry mee is uncommon. Also something different is that the curry was prepared with anchovy broth. Both bowls had cockles added in, without additional charge.
The other items that we ordered from other stalls were Mushroom Chicken Chop Rice from the Western food stall and Chicken Rice. What do you think of our lunch? Simple, yes, but fulfilling.
