Cotton Craft, Shah Alam
I have to admit that when we were sent to the area for dinner and allowed to choose any of the three cafés that were open at that time, Cotton Craft was last on my list.
It wasn’t my prejudice but it was at the suggestion of a local friend to try the others.
And so, my first choice was Grease but it was full house, unsurprisingly. Next was The Sumbs Café. Not only was it full, there was even a queue outside the entrance!
Long story short, we ended up having dinner at Cotton Craft. Although they didn’t have too many meal options as a lot of items were unavailable, I had no complaints about the taste of my food.
I do like the colour scheme and wall doodles which give off a friendly and relaxing mood. It actually looks rather childish but that’s why I like and I had no regrets dining there.

Hm.. Food presentation doesn’t look very good especially the lamb shank haha is the cauliflower even cooked well enough? Looks quite hard to me x.x
Isabel, the fungus did put me off. HAHAHA
The name of the shop is very cute. i thought is sell cotton but when scroll down, only realize is a cafe. the price reasonable for the food ?
it’s nice cafe , wish they got another branch at kota damansara area too!!
What’s the price range like at this place? I like how it looks but for the presentation and portion, it’s hard to imagine how I can get my money’s worth…
Betty, Elie,
My friends and I ordered various items so it’s difficult to remember individual prices. I’d say the average would be from RM15 and up.
Deco kat sini nampak kreatif!
The Spaghetti looks yummy. And their wall doodle is so cute! 😛
i thought this shop is selling cotton, hahahaha…..
Nice enviroment but shop like too small, can’t squeeze in more peoples…
Erm it doesn’t look very appetizing. Haha lots to improve, because it is still relatively new?
Deco so minimal and food look so so je la. May be they need to present it creatively.
The doodles really creative. Wonder is it the owner who draw it ?
Makanan biasa biasa je… but doodle looks creative !!!
Nice doodles on the wall.
makan with lotta doodles together is fun =)
how’s the ambience there?
How’s the price range? Shah Alam kinda near my place, maybe can have a look next time, creative doodle btw 😉
The black bits on the cauliflower is burnt parts or mold? O.o
Must try when I go to Shah Alam.
Thanks for sharing the new makan place.
Cotton craft… by the name I thought they were selling clothes or something… hahaha…. and they serve food… oh wow…and oh I agree, the doodles on the wall are cute!!!

Lovely cafe and great theme. Looks like there is a new place to take a look at soon in Shs Alam 😀
Very cute doodles! How does their coffee taste like? 😀
Quite misleading name for a cafe! Spaghetti looks alright though
hmm…why they called it as cotton craft? any reason?
Cheers.
Such a cute and nice place for dining! I hope that Shah Alam can have more of this cafe!
Not really thought that is a cafe when first reading especially the interior look. But this kind of cafe is quite look fresh in town.
Liked the wall doodle too much. thanks for a nice post.
Haa at first I thought its a story about you went and learn some craft, turn out is a food place. It does look a tad too minimal for me 😀
Lamb shank looks good though, then again I love anything with lamb in it
I like that feature wall with doodle artworks on it, so fun and cheerful 🙂
The food presentation looks inviting. The pasta looks yummy. Makes me wanna cook some right now.

The wall doodles are really cute. I sure wish they have more food selections.
The doodles looked nice. I guess it’s a plus going for the cafe? The food looks meh though. Well, as long as it doesn’t taste like shit right?
