Anyone who has been bitten by the travel bug would know never to pass up an opportunity to explore the world. There are just so much to see and do, whether it’s domestic or international travel, right?

Recently, to my delight, I was unexpectedly invited to visit the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (or just Vietnam), my 11th country to date!

For most of my overseas trips, I utilise the Yoyo or Star Shuttle airport coach transfer, boarding at Terminal Amanjaya (new name: Terminal Meru Raya) and which takes me directly from Ipoh to KLIA or KLIA2 (airport) in less than 4 hours.

Well, it’s indeed convenient, except that when I fly in the morning, I prefer to clock a good night’s rest, which I am unable to do should I travel on an overnight bus.

For my recent flight to Vietnam, I decided to stay the night in Kuala Lumpur and head out to the airport in the morning. At first, I thought that I should take the airport bus from KL Sentral at RM12 per trip, but that would mean leaving my hotel at about 5.30am.

Luckily, at the last minute, I was informed of the airport transfer service by KL Elegant Limo Service and decided to give them a try. I booked my ride for 6am, but my driver, Lim, was waiting for me in a Toyota Innova MPV 20 minutes before my scheduled pick-up time.

I appreciated his efficiency as it gave me peace of mind to know that I don’t have to think of and look for an alternative way to the airport should he be delayed en route. Or should anything happen along the way to the airport, I would have some extra time and still be able to make it for the flight, hopefully.

For all my unnecessary worries, I actually arrived at KLIA2 in only 45 minutes, in comfort I should say, so much so that I fell asleep. Uh-uh, to think that I just woke up. Haha!

KL Elegant Limo Service is a registered company that not only provides airport transfers to KLIA or KLIA2 from anywhere within the Klang Valley, but also offers private tours and VIP charter services. This company has a fleet of vehicles to suit different travel group sizes and budgets, from Premium VIP to economy.

Do take note to always engage only registered transport companies. The reason I opted for KL Elegant Limo Service is its fully licensed drivers, has legal liability insurance for passengers and most of all, uses licensed e-hailing platform for seamless ride bookings at reasonable fares.

Because I was pleased with KL Elegant Limo Service, I engaged them again upon touching down at KLIA. The airport now has an e-hailing pick-up point, which makes it easy for air passengers to wait for their ride.

My driver, Danny this time, sent me photographs on how to head out to the pick-up point. Basically, it’s like this:

From the immigration clearance counter (Level 3), walk straight to Door 7. You will come to the lift (elevator). Take it down to Level 1 and exit at Door 3.

Obviously, drivers are not allowed to wait for passengers there, so it’s noteworthy to keep in touch with the driver and notify him or her that you are reaching the door.

Danny of KL Elegant Limo Service was just around the corner, so he came by speedily to fetch me as soon as I dropped him a WhatsApp message that I have already cleared Customs.

KL Elegant Limo Service drivers are certainly efficient, thus their clients do not have to waste time waiting for them. Instead, they ensure they wait for their clients and are ready to hit the road whenever their passengers are.
