City’s Disinfection & Sanitisation Programme Continues

While the country is under Restricted Movement Order (RMO), also known as Movement Control Order (MCO), in a concerted effort to break the chain of COVID-19 viral infection that is ravaging the world, the Ipoh City Council (Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh) is intensifying efforts to keep the city as clean as possible.

Targeted areas are public amenities from airport to train station and bus terminal; shopping malls and other vulnerable places.

Yesterday morning, the Ipoh City Council teamed up with State Fire & Rescue Department (BOMBA) and SW Corp to disinfect and sanitise Rumah Pangsa Buntong Harmoni in Buntong, Ipoh.

Tuan Zakuan Zakaria, Ipoh City Council Secretary, was at hand to supervise the cleansing work.

This disinfection and sanitisation programme will continue to expand to cover an even larger area of the city.
