Terengganu Trade Centre

The Terengganu Trade Centre, which is sharing space at the Planetarium in Kuala Terengganu, reminded me of those "Karnival Usahawan" in Greentown Mall on the occasional weekends, except that this trade fair is more permanent. The objective of Terengganu Trade Centre is to encourage the entrepreneurship spirit, with the motto, "One District, One Industry". At TTC, ... continue reading »

As mentioned in my previous post, we were in great anticipation of our next destination, Terrapuri Heritage Village. I tell you, the Land of the Palaces exceeded all expectations. The sights were breathtaking, the architecture magnificent, and of course, the service excellent. We were first ushered to the beach for a refreshing coconut drink before Alex ... continue reading »

This is a privately-owned island, some 800 metres north of the more popular Pulau Kapas (Cotton Island). As far as I know, the only resort on Pulau Gemia is the aptly ... continue reading »

Teluk Ketapang Homestay

Teluk Ketapang, a beach side community in Kuala Terengganu, offers one of the largest and best homestay programmes in the state of Terengganu. As homestays become more popular among tourists, home owners are more willing to open their homes to guests, not only for additional income, but also to expand their social circle. Unlike hotels, ... continue reading »

Muzium Negeri Terengganu

We made a brief stop at the Muzium Negeri Terengganu, the largest museum in Malaysia. I am glad we did as the building itself is a work of art. With the tagline, "Love the Museum, Love Our Heritage", it houses a massive collection of artifacts from all districts of the state. Terengganu State Museum, on Bukit ... continue reading »
