This Christmas break, my family purposely rearranged our schedule to grab a quick lunch here together. To our surprise, this restaurant offers real value for money Cantonese-style cooking without compromising on quantity or quality.

This restaurant is best known for its soups, especially its highlight, Sea Coconut Spare Ribs Soup. Also on the menu are main courses as well as individual meals, such as fried rice and claypot rice.

If you follow food posts on this blog, you know that I am pretty particular about the rice served. At Restoran The Best, I am delighted to report that it is fluffily appetising. I always believe that eateries shouldn’t stinge on rice as it really does make a difference in the overall dining experience.

What a relief that despite the tough economic situation in the country because of the pandemic, a good and clean restaurant is still standing tall, offering delicious meals with prices starting from RM10+/-, without tax.
