introducing Chef Azman's Gulai Kawah Istimewa

The month of Ramadhan is the best time to savour authentic Malay cuisine. The best way to do it is with people dear to heart. And the best place? By the poolside, of course. You could do just that this Ramadhan at Impiana Hotel Ipoh. If weather doesn’t permit, just scoot over to the Coffee House. Haha!

This year’s Ramadhan menu at Impiana Hotel Ipoh is once again led by Chef Azman, who has been with the hotel for more than a decade already. He would be presenting his five Kawah-style specialities, namely Rendang Tok, Assam Pedas Ikan Pari, Gear Box Soup, Patin Gulai Tempoyak and Bubur Lambuk. Yes, authentic Malay food!

Besides the main dishes offered buffet-style, there would also be three active stalls and the grill, all serving a variety of food that would please the local palate. The photos I am sharing today is just one small part of the menu. In fact, there are six different menus, with over a hundred items, planned for this Ramadhan and dishes would be served on daily rotation. You can expect a different mix of food every evening!

And while you are dining away, enjoy the live Ghazal music in the background that would set you in the mood to break fast in a most meaningful and memorable way.
