Announcement: National Day Night Cycling Event in Ipoh
The Ipoh City Council is organising a cycling event in conjunction with the 59th National Day which is observed on 31st August, 2016. The event will be held on 30th August at Dataran MBI in Greentown at 7pm.
All types of bicycles can be used but safety helmets are compulsory.
Those who are interested to participate in the event may submit their particulars latest by 25th August, 2016. Entry fee is RM30 per person. Entry forms can be obtained at the Ipoh City Council (4th Floor).
Participants are to collect their goody bag from 27th to 29th August at the lobby of the Ipoh City Council building, during office hours. Bring along your receipt for verification purpose.
T-shirts are only available for the first one thousand participants. So, be early if interested!
Fifty lucky draw prizes await cyclists. Up for grabs include a 50in television set, bicycles, smartphones, household electrical appliances and hampers.

Cycling in Ipoh sounds more fun than cycling in KL as there should be lesser cars and air is more cleaner
