Announcement: 10,000 Smiles Yoga (Ipoh)
International Association for Human Value (IAHV) Malaysia Chapter is organising 10,000 Smiles Yoga on 21st June 2015, in conjunction with the first ever World Yoga Day as announced by United Nations.
This event is held concurrently in 4 cities: Ipoh, Penang, Malacca and Petaling Jaya. Each city is expected to gather 1,000 people to participate in this fun and relaxing outdoor yoga, which shall start from 6am until 8am on 21st June 2015.
Smile yoga is all about releasing stress and bringing back smile and inner joy. A genuine smile can only happen when stress is gone. This unique yoga combines simple and fun movements, breathing practices and relaxation techniques, all designed to bring back or enhance that inner smile.
The emphasis is to connect with your child-like nature, and enjoy yourself rather than perfecting the practices. Smile yoga will release your stress and restlessness, taking you to a place of deep rest; the deeper you are able to rest, the more dynamic you are able to be in activity.
In Ipoh, this 10,000 Smiles Yoga will be held at SJK(C) Bercham. Upon its completion, a Smile Charity Vegetarian Bazaar will be underway. Expect to be entertained by various performances, besides the other activities lined up, such as a blood donation drive and a children’s drawing competition.
