AEON Jusco Kinta City Chinese New Year Entertainment
As an Ipoh born and bred, there is no where better to usher in the Lunar New Year than in my own hometown.
I don’t deny that Ipoh can be a tad quiet sometimes, (OK, most of the time!) and so, this Chinese New Year, like the past years, I have spent a good number of hours joining in the Chinese New Year activities lined up by two of my favourite shopping malls, AEON Jusco Kinta City and Ipoh Parade.
Today’s photos were all taken at AEON Jusco Kinta City, where a series of family-friendly Chinese New Year activities is lined up for the month of February, usually on weekends.
Obviously, these events were just a small part of the fun that was spread to the shoppers these past two weeks.
Also, I was happy to note that all of these Chinese New Year activities were arranged and handled by my friend from Au Young Events, which means, I had free access to photograph them!
If you are planning a party or even a carnival, be rest assured that all can be handled efficiently by Au Young Events.

Ahh, how can you not love CNY? One of the favourite parts of the festive season would be to watch the cute lion dance.
They can handle anything size of event? I mean do they take any jobs for smaller events like birthday parties?
Hi Fadzi Razak,
Yes, Au Young Events can manage birthday parties, corporate events, stage performances and public entertainment such as this one.

Wow so happening in kinta city. Over here some of the supermarket are closed half a day on the first day of CNY.
Happy CNY! Food, Fun and festivities are all over the world to celebrate CNY. Great to see your post about the same.
Nice to see a bustling active Jusco but then, always felt Ipoh to be packed with people during CNY, everywhere. Except for AEON Big in Falim, that place is dead looking with a few shops open. LOL
