All contests were conducted in both Modern (Standard) and Latin Sections. This year, solo events were also introduced. Another interesting item was the ladies’ event where both dancers were female, with one of them taking on the male role. It has to be noted that in this item, the “male” dancer should also be dressed as a man, from the hair, right down to the shoes.
