23rd SAS Cup 2014: Day 5 – Canada (2) – South Africa (3)
Canada and South Africa were both desperately seeking their first win going into the match. In the end, South Africa proved a little luckier, to edge Canada with a 3-2 score.
Both teams are quite closely matched in terms of physical build and geographically disadvantaged, making it difficult for them to compete in more international meets.
However, South Africa have qualified for the World Cup in the Netherlands this May, by virtue of having won the Africa Cup of Nations.
Meanwhile, Canada have played four games, winning none. With zero points, Canada is at the bottom of the tables.
