Coach for Korea Shin Seok Kyu was definitely disappointed that his boys were unable to come away from that match against India with a full three points. The Asian giants were only able to draw 2-all in a tightly contested game.

The Koreans had 6 or 7 young players, only 22 – 23 years old and they were fielded to be exposed to an international level of play.

New coach for India, Dutchman Paul Van Ass, only three weeks into the job, said that even though they have talented players, winning a medal here at the Azlan Shah Cup is still a long way more to go. It’s just the beginning of the tournament and they are still trying to implement new ideas into their game, with a new coach.
