It was a sea of purple at Polo Ground on Sunday, when Perak Women for Women Society organised a morning family outing called ‘A Walk in the Park’.

Despite its name, it was not a “walk”. Neither was it a protest nor demonstration. It was an informal social gathering.

With the objective of bringing all Malaysians together irrespective of race, colour or creed, I’d say judging from the turnout, they have been successful.
