It’s funny that even though I am from Ipoh and have seen advertisements of The Haven Lakeside Residences, a new luxurious condominium project in Ipoh, I never made any effort to visit its office or even view its show house, which was once my favourite past time.

However, I was introduced to this high rise residential development project at the PAIA Exhibition and Conference 2010 where the sales and marketing team of The Haven was on hand to, well, sell and market The Haven to potential buyers and property investors.

The Haven Lakeside Residences, Ipoh

The Haven Lakeside Residences is next to Sunway City, Banjaran Hot Springs Retreat and the Lost World of Tambun, which frankly, is like another part of the world to me. I only pass through this area a couple of times a YEAR. It’s situated in the heart of nature, fronting an overflowing 4-acre “lake” and surrounded by a natural 140 feet high rock that is more than 280 million years old and limestone hills and yet within close proximity to (the fringe of) Ipoh City.

As you can see from the photo that I took of the beautiful architectural model of this high-end lakeside gated residential development project, it comprises three blocks of luxury condominiums. There are 26 stories each block, 165 units per block, selling from MYR250,000 to MYR1.4 million per unit.

I may not be able to afford such luxurious properties but after taking a look at The Haven at the recent PAIA Exhibition and Conference, I can’t wait to visit the location and savour its natural surroundings, if only for a brief moment.
