The Haven Ipoh Bags FIABCI Malaysia Property Award 2015
The Haven Ipoh continues to bring more fame to Ipoh by winning yet another prestigious award, adding to its already illustrious collection of national and global property and hospitality awards that numbers more than thirty.
Ipoh, which has long been a “sleepy city”, is beginning to be acknowledged as vibrant not only among Malaysians but also internationally, especially after The Haven Ipoh won the World Luxury Hotel Awards 2015 recently.
At the gala event held at One World Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on November 6, 2015, The Haven Ipoh was declared the winner for FIABCI Malaysia Property Award 2015 for ‘Residential (High Rise) Category’.
The FIABCI Malaysia Property Award is the gold standard for distinguished and top-notch developers in the real estate industry, recognising the best of the best in the country. It is a platform for pioneers and leaders in real estate to showcase their best.
Now in its 18th year, the Award is highly coveted as it brings immediate recognition and publicity to the winners. Touted as the Property Oscar Award for the industry, this year’s winners will compete at the FIABCI International Prix d’ Excellence Award to be held in Panama, which draws delegates from more than 60 countries and over 100 different national associations and academic institutions.
FIABCI is the French acronym for “Federation Internationale des Administrateurs de Bien-Conselis Immobiliers”, which means “The International Real Estate Federation”.
Mr. Peter Chan, Chief Executive Officer of The Haven Sdn Bhd, accepted the award which was presented personally by the guest-of-honour, HRH Sultan Ibrahim Ismail of Johor.

Congrats The Haven Hotel!
My dad was from Ipoh, used to visit this sleepy city frequently till it became somewhat almost a ghost town with all the shops closing and people moving away. Glad that they are taking efforts now in restoring the place to it’s former glory 🙂
Congrats! It’s a very nice place, very scenic too.
