As mentioned in my previous post, we were in great anticipation of our next destination, Terrapuri Heritage Village. I tell you, the Land of the Palaces exceeded all expectations. The sights were breathtaking, the architecture magnificent, and of course, the service excellent.

We were first ushered to the beach for a refreshing coconut drink before Alex Lee, owner of the resort, gave us a low-down on his pet project. Although Alex had dreamt of owning a Malay-style palace since he was only 20 years old, I believe even he himself was amazed to see how far his dream has come.

Terrapuri Heritage Village is still very much a work in progress but once completed, it would feature almost thirty antique 100-year-old Terengganu Malay classic houses. Inspired by the 17th century Terengganu Palace, and occupying a land area of four acres, this exclusive resort sporting the architecture of a Lost Kingdom, also has a private dining villa, a gallery and a beach house.
