Tasek Square Residence is one of Ipoh’s premier gated-community development located at Taman Tawas Idaman, Ipoh (GPS Coordinates – N 04 39.654′ E 101 6.454′), part of a total land area of 69 acres. Houses here are so sought-after, they were fully booked as soon as they were opened for booking.

Its developer, Megayear Corporation Sdn. Bhd. has recently launched its third phase (Zone III), with only limited units to be sold now. I am not sure why these houses are in demand; possibly because of the good track record of Megayear Corp, the close proximity of Tasek Square Residence to Ipoh City, or simply, because they value for money, with freehold virgin land status.

I had the opportunity to visit the semi-D (photos above) and bungalow (photos below) show houses of Tasek Square Residence recently and took many photos to share on my blog. I understand that normally, photography is not allowed! For Zone III, there are 8 units of double storey semi-D, with an area of 45′ X 90′, priced at RM538K onwards. As for “bungalows”, there are 12 units, with two sizes: 60′ X 100′ and 60′ X 109′. These are sold from RM1.8 million.

The developer has ensured that residents at Tasek Square enjoy not only comfort but also privacy and security. Since there are three Zones, each Zone has its own entrance, with its team of security personnel. By the way, Zone I is fully occupied now. With such limited units per Zone, the low density communities enjoy really tight security, I must say.

Interestingly, all Zone III double storey semi-D and bungalows sport flat rooftops. This is a potential for homeowners to build a roof garden in the future. Additionally, all these houses have four bedrooms and a utility room. Looks like the target market is small to medium-size families. Check out my photos.
