S.H.E. De La Mode

a performance by students from SK Marian Convent, Ipoh, introducing popular tourist spots in Perak

S.H.E. Expo 2012 may have opened on Friday but the launching ceremony was on Saturday afternoon. Although it was a simple affair, it was very meaningful to me. That’s because 25 students from SK Marian Convent, my Alma mater, gathered on stage, like a choir, and introduced, Upin & Ipin-like, the many interesting tourist spots in Perak. How apt seeing that this year is Visit Perak Year!

The performance was followed by a speech by the CEO of World Trend Corporate Sdn. Bhd., Mr. Jensom Ng. World Trend Corporate is the organiser of S.H.E. Expo 2012. He shared with us the good news that S.H.E. Expo 2012 has expanded its exhibition area by 41% compared to last year’s, with 86 exhibition booths. S.H.E. 2012 is indeed the largest exposition in Perak targetted at women! S.H.E. Expo 2012 is on track to receive the 1 Malaysia iAwards 2012 and the fastest growing brand of Asia Success Awards 2012. Congratulations!
