Sahabat Orang Asli Project

For the third consecutive year, two hundred employees from Sunway Lost World of Tambun, Lost World Hotel, The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat, Sunway College Ipoh, Sunway City Ipoh Group Security as well as Sunway City Ipoh Property, got together to pack forty thousand meals for orang asli villagers through the Sahabat Orang Asli Project.

This orang asli outreach initiative is under the C.A.R.E (Community Aid, Reach-out and Enrichment) Projects, one of the pillars of Sunway Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts.

The villages that benefit from this project are Kg. Sekam, Tapah; Kg. Chang, Bidor; Kg. Air Bah Lawin, Kg. Sg. Lawin Selatan and Kg. Sg. Karah in Gerik; plus Pos Kuala Mu and Pos Yum, Sg Siput.

Volunteers formed assembly lines to pack dehydrated, highly nutritious meals for the beneficiaries as you can see from these photos.
