Ramadan Bazaar @ Medan Selera Tasek, Ipoh
Made my way to this Pasar Ramadan (or PaRam in short) that’s just right in front of Medan Selera Tasek food court (GPS Coordinates: N 04 38.909′ E 101 6.436′) last evening. It’s located at the end of Jalan Tasek, in Kg. Tawas, Ipoh.
I have never been here before, so I was eager to see what they have to offer. I have to say I was pretty disappointed. There were only about 50 stalls, selling the usual buka puasa food. It was a challenge to look for good shots too, until I came across this pointy hat guy. He runs a stall that sells cold drinks. When he caught me taking his photo, he asked me, “Why? Nice, ah?”
Actually, I had wanted to visit this Ramadan bazaar since a few days ago, but it rained every evening. I was worried for the food sellers because their business would surely be affected. Yes, people still need to eat but it’s not easy preparing food (street action station, haha!) with the rain pouring!
Anyway, I hope that I am able to bring you a few more bazar Ramadan posts before the month of Ramadhan is over! I’m praying for fine weather…
