Putrajaya Marriott Hotel & Spa

Like the Palm Garden Hotel, Putrajaya Marriott Hotel & Spa is also located within IOI Resort City, and wholly owned by IOI Properties. If I have to sum up Putrajaya Marriott in one word, it would be “majestic”. Indeed, this is a preferred business and leisure resort for many.

Also like the Palm Garden Hotel, Putrajaya Marriott Hotel is not exactly in Putrajaya, just on the fringes of it. It’s actually in Sepang, less than thirty minutes’ drive from Kuala Lumpur city centre, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Sepang International Circuit (SIC).

Putrajaya Marriott spots a combination of Mediterranean – Moorish architecture, which somehow reminds me of Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside Hotel, except that Marriott’s motif is palm-leaf inspired. My friend told me that it is not easy to find a hotel that has such high ceilings. In his opinion, this Marriott is almost at par with the Palace of the Golden Horses in Sri Kembangan. Imagine, the grand lobby of Marriott spans over two acres in width.

Putrajaya Marriott offers 380 spacious guest rooms, 73 executive rooms and 35 executive suites. All are elegantly appointed, and regulated by international standards with the Revive® Bedding Collection of soft, silky, 300-thread count sheets, custom sheeted duvets, fluffy pillows and extra soft mattresses.
