Perak Homex 2013

The fourth annual Perak HOMEX got underway yesterday at Ipoh’s Stadium Indera Mulia. This four-day lifestyle exposition was officiated by Ipoh City Mayor, Dato’ Hj. Roshidi Hashim, with a special appearance by international supermodel Amber Chia.

Organised by Perak Furniture Makers & Dealers Association in collaboration with Ipoh City Council, Perak HOMEX is fully supported by the Perak State Government.

Touted as the largest furniture lifestyle exposition in Ipoh covering a floor space of more than 8,000 sq. metres, the more than 400 booths will try to achieve a turnover in sales of RM15 million, more than the RM10 million last year from a visitor count of 60,000 people.

Besides sales booth, other sub-events are Wedding Walk 2013, free cooking demonstration, free food sampling, children’s colouring contest and feng shui talk.

A major attraction of Perak HOMEX is the prizes up for grabs. Those who purchase a minimum of RM500 will be entered in a lucky draw, where the grand prize is a Perodua Viva car. Other prizes include two motorcycles and two 50″ plasma television sets.

Visitors who did not spend also get a chance to win a prize as four 7″ tablets are given away daily in a separate daily lucky draw. Total prizes to be given away are worth RM80,000!
